Abstract

Chapter One

 “Introduction & Project initiation”

Introduction:

The shift to digital is becoming an important part of economic and social growth around the world. The Egyptian government is working to bring digital technology into many areas as part of Vision 2030. This will help with long-term growth, make public services better, and make processes more efficient and clear.

In legal field, digital transformation is gradually transforming a system that has been slowed down, inefficient, and hard to get to for a long time because of too much paperwork. The digital transformation aim to use less paper and manual processes. This will make the system more efficient, make it easier for people to get justice, and make court procedures easier for both customers and lawyers.

The aim of this project is to digitalize Egypt’s legal system using online platform. It will be like a market online where people can post their cases and get proposals from different lawyers. so they can pick the best lawyer for their needs. on the other hand, lawyers often face challenges in reaching potential clients The platform will also have real-time case tracking, so clients can get regular updates from their lawyer on the state of their case. This will make the legal process easier for everyone.

Business Problem Statement:
Identify problems like the difficulty of finding the right lawyer, inefficiencies in accessing legal services, and lack of digital integration in the Egyptian legal system.

State that the legal process is traditionally manual and time-consuming, causing delays and sometimes a lack of transparency.

Objectives:

-To digitalize the legal process by creating an online platform that connects clients with legal professionals more efficiently.

-To provide a marketplace for lawyers to showcase and offer their services, allowing clients to find the right legal representation based on their specific needs.

-To support the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:

SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, by improving access to justice and enhancing the efficiency of legal processes.

SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, by promoting innovation in the legal sector through the use of digital technologies

Scope:

-Allow clients to submit their legal cases online, outlining the nature of the issue and what type of legal support they need.

– Enable lawyers to review cases and submit proposals to provide legal services to the client.

– Allow lawyers update the status of cases.

– integrate features like client feedback, allowing clients to rate the quality of services offered by lawyers.

Methodology:

This project will use the Agile methodology to develop the online platform for digitalizing Egypt’s legal systemAgile was selected for its flexibility, iterative development process, and emphasis on customer feedback, which will help ensure that the platform effectively meets the needs of both clients and legal professionals. The development will be divided into manageable sprints, enabling continuous improvement and adaptation based on user input. This approach will allow the team to incorporate feedback from both clients and lawyers throughout the development process, ensuring that the final product is user-friendly and addresses the challenges faced in the legal sector.
