Essay question 1:

There are several theories that explain how people decide which behavioural actions meet their needs and assess whether their choices are successful. Three process theories are ‘Goal setting’, ‘Equity’, and Expectancy’. Explain how and why each of these process theories can be effective in energising and motivating a virtual team comprised of people from diverse cultural backgrounds. In your answer, consider how contextual factors, including organisational culture and leadership, can influence each approach.
