What am I required to do in this assignment?
This assignment builds on the work undertaken for Assignment 1 – the audit of need.
You are required to develop a service proposal to meet the needs identified in your audit of need. You must design an appropriate organisational response which includes financial dimensions.

You will need to:
1. Propose a realistic service response to these barriers that identify and address the needs of service user groups and those who have experienced organisational contingencies.
2. Communicate the findings in a written project proposal report.

Several or more seminar sessions will be devoted to a discussion of the academic skills required to achieve a good grade. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about the assessment and to share experiences with other students about individual writing styles. You will appreciate the inter-relationships between descriptive, analytical and evaluative writings, supported by a required habit of referencing in accordance with Harvard. This Unit aims to build your understanding of the beliefs and values (philosophies) and policy frameworks which influence the way human services are organised and delivered in our 21st century times. You will be able to draw on your learning throughout the Unit and apply this to develop your own critical thinking and analytical skills. This will equip you to write about your own ideas for responding to a service need and ensure these ideas are realistic and deliverable and taking account of diverse needs/challenges and the policy landscape for 21st century human services.
